Janiva Willis and the Nemo group events

This week, the Nemo Group is going to be providing a number of great activities and events at the Irishtown Community Centre. This group is founded by our own Janiva Willis who has been successful throughout her career. She has never forgotten the community that helped her become the accomplished lady that she is today.

WEDNESDAY – December 10th
FUN NITE (Sports night and kids drop in) – 6:30pm
Ages 5+
Snack will be provide
No Cost

SATURDAY (MORNING) – December 13th
Heart of a Champion Elite Athletic Mentoring Workshop
Registration at 9:30am and workshop starts at 10am
Workshop is being promoted with Greater Moncton High School Sports Teams and Provincial Sports Teams
Age is targeted at 10+
Costs is $10

SATURDAY (EVENING) – December 13th
Fundraising Dinner with Janiva Willis and Team Nemo
Janiva Willis will be giving a speech about her life story, successes, community engagement and overall motivation
Event is being professionally catered
Cost is $35 a ticket
Tickets are available at Needs at 1410 Elmwood Drive (Opposite McEwen Airfield) or by contacting Kathy Silva at 856-7194 / Shari Howell at 851-9210
Doors open at 6:30pm (Dinner starts at 7pm)
Ticket inquires are requested to be received as soon as possible (for planning purposes)

SUNDAY – December 14th
Community Brunch from 11am to 2pm
Meet and greet with Janiva and Team Nemo with a brief overview of the Nemo Group at Noon
Kids activity centre will available at the brunch
Free event for the community

In addition to these great activities, Janiva and Team Nemo will also be:
Speaking and working with Mountain View and Harrison Trimble High School on literacy and motivation topics; and
Working with the Ray of Hope Soup Kitchen
